AROUND THE INN

Our Garden

In the morning enjoy breakfast al fresco, in the afternoon, relax on lounge chairs with cooling fine mist and work on your tan, or curl up a good book. Flowers and herbs surround you with the background sound of a bubbling fountain. In the evening sip a glass of wine with that special someone under the stars and bistro lights. Soothing by day and positively magical by night.

Meet the Innkeepers

Meet the Innkeepers Mark, Joanne and Victoria, and feel the true meaning of Family!

The Island Guest House has been a family owned and operated business for over 27 years. Mark, Joanne and their daughter Victoria, accompanied by a wonderful staff of Island locals are here to welcome you and are experts at helping you to create your best experience while you are here.

Come be a part of the Island Guest House Family!

Meet Mark. His voice is usually the first that you will hear when you call to make your reservation, and his outgoing friendly personality makes you feel welcome immediately. You will find him with his coffee cup making his rounds with guests each morning at breakfast, and around the Inn working on projects later in the day. He will be happy to chat and tell you where the best restaurants are!

Meet Joanne. She can usually be found in the kitchen, and has a passion for cooking. You will see her at breakfast, or stop by in the afternoon and see what is being prepared for tomorrow's breakfast.

She has a BA from Rutgers University in Historic Preservation, has served on the Historic Preservation Commission in Beach Haven, and loves to talk about the island's architecture and history.

Meet Victoria. Her effervescent personality breathes life into every corner of the inn. You will see her everywhere, whether pampering the doggie guests at the Inn, popping in and out of guest rooms to make sure they are spotless, giving guests a tour of the Inn at check in time, or helping with breakfast.
